Single-action handguns and why they can be carried safely

Commentators Ryan Michad and Weerd Beard discuss the function of single-action handguns and why they can be carried safely. Ryan expresses some concerns about how safe “cocked-and-locked” carry is with a single-action handgun design, and Weerd Beard explains all the mechanisms and functions that make the single-action handgun safe to carry.

Ryan also discusses his meeting with Ian McCollum from Forgotten Weapons at the James D. Julia Auction House in Fairfield, Maine, when Ian was looking at the Elmer Keith collection being auctioned there.
